This has place has become one of my favorite ramen places to go! Service is great and quick. My favorite part is how affordable and cheap there dishes are. Its nearby and always a great option for when you need something quick and the place is cozy and well decorated.

O ramen is such a cozy spot if you're looking for delicious ramen in town! It has beautiful decor including art with anime characters eating ramen and figurines for sell at the entry way! Their menu really has all you could ask for in a ramen shop and their food is delicious! The Takoyaki especially is really great and their mochi ice cream comes in 3. As for service, the waiters are very exceptional they pass by your table frequently to offer refills or to ask if everything is good. And to top it off the food is served pretty fast so even when there is a wait time it is not for too long. It can get busy and they do close for lunch hours so I recommend you plan your visit timely but it is worth the effort
It's been awhile since I've been here. Prolly at least 4 years since the last time I stopped by and it was just as yummy as I remember it. Solid ramen joint if your looking in the area. Stopped by for dinner around 5pm and they weren't to busy when I first got there but after being there about 15 min, they were packed!!! Ordered a ramen bowl and some gyoza and my food was out within 10 min. Ramen noodles were of great quality and the soup itself had great flavor. Very large portion too. The gyoza was so tasteful, a must if your a gyoza fan. Menu is extensive here so you have some good options to choose from. Prices are good considering the portions, quality and flavors you are getting here. Overall, would have to rate my visit a 8 out of 10. O ramen, thank you for hospitality and delicious food. Been here a few times and service is always on point. Food is always flavorful and the portions are just right. This visit I had the Chicken Teriyaki bowl with garlic rice and it was so delicious. The salad was delicious I don't like purple cabbage but everything else was so good. The dressing is wet and they give you enough to coat all the lettuce so that it's not dry. Definitely will be going back. The ambiance of this place is it's very quiet and it does get busy around lunch time but with fast service you don't wait long to be asked for drinks or if you're ready to order.
My favorite ramen in Bakersfield, no questions asked. The Tantanmen is spicy and flavorful; I think I've ordered it almost every time I come! I also love their gyoza and chicken karaage apps. It just really hits the spot every time. Only complaint is that I don't think they've ever answered their phone when I've called to try and place a to-go order, so the only time I can eat here is when I'm able to go in person and wait for a table (usually 10-20ish minutes). Most days I just want to pick it up on my way home from work and eat at home in my comfy clothes. That said, I definitely still recommend O Ramen to anyone who asks!
